Why this helps:
When you visit a website, your browser stores pieces of data (like images, scripts, and login sessions) to help pages load faster in the future. However, over time, these stored files, called cache and cookies can cause problems:
Pages may not load correctly
You might stay stuck on an old version of a page
Login sessions may get disrupted
Errors like “secure connection failed” can appear unexpectedly
Clearing your cache and cookies can often resolve strange behavior, especially after a system update or when a secure connection issue can’t be reproduced by others.
✅ What happens when you clear them:
Cache: Removes saved images, scripts, and files from websites
Cookies: Logs you out and resets website preferences
Result: Fresh session, fewer errors, and often smoother performance
Here’s how to do that based on the browser and device you're using:
Google Chrome (Windows & macOS)
Open Chrome
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Go to Settings
Click Privacy and security on the left
Select Clear browsing data
Set Time range to All time
Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
Click Clear data
Safari (macOS)
Open Safari
Click Safari in the top-left menu bar
Select Preferences
Go to the Privacy tab
Click Manage Website Data
Click Remove All, then confirm
Microsoft Edge (Windows & macOS)
Open Edge
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner
Go to Settings
Click Privacy, search, and services
Scroll to Clear browsing data
Click Choose what to clear
Set the Time range to All time
Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
Click Clear now
Mozilla Firefox (Windows & macOS)
Open Firefox
Click the three-bar menu in the top-right corner
Go to Settings
Click Privacy & Security
Scroll to Cookies and Site Data
Click Clear Data
Select both options and click Clear
✅ After Clearing Cache:
Once you’ve cleared your cache and cookies:
Close all open browser windows
Reopen a new browser window
Go to wiseagent.com and log in again
